The hotness of the storage power supply device while charging may be caused by the storage power supply charger, the usage environment or internal malfunction. If your power supply has the following problems, please follow the steps in this article to troubleshoot and solve the problem.
Phenomenon 1: Charger is hot
Phenomenon 2: The surface of the storage power supply is hot
Phenomenon 3: Abnormal heating during charging, accompanied by odor and smoke.
Please follow the steps below to deal with the problem.
Step 1: Check the charger
The surface temperature of the charger under normal working conditions is below 60℃. If the charger is overheating, check the heat dissipation condition during charging. Please check whether there is any covering on the surface of the charger because the covering will affect the heat dissipation of the charger and lead to hot charging. If there is, the surface covering should be removed in time. If there is no cover on the surface and the charging is abnormal (surface temperature above 60℃), then the charger is abnormal.
Solution: Contact customer service to replace the charger.
Step 2: Check the device display
During normal charging, because of the current consumption, the thermal effect of the current will cause the local temperature of the device to rise. Check the device display to confirm the current charging power value, if the charging power is within the rated range, please place the power supply in a ventilated place, which can effectively reduce the heat.
Step 3: Check the charging of the storage power supply
If the charging power is abnormal and accompanied by a strange odor or smoke, it means that there is a malfunction inside the device. Please stop charging immediately and place the device in a ventilated place outdoors.
Solution: Contact customer service for after-sale treatment.
