Return service cannot be granted if:
1. Repairs have been carried out by an unauthorised party.
2. A product was purchased from an unauthorised dealer or another source.
3. There has been improper use, misuse or incorrect use, modification, accidental damage or use outside of normal operation, negligence, accident, incorrect installation, overloading, physical damage or alteration, insufficient internal or external repair or modification, inadequate ventilation, use in an environment unsuitable for Jackery products.
4. Any defects or damage caused by excessive heat, liquids or other external causes.
5. Damage caused by unauthorised service providers.
6. The product has been opened, altered or disassembled without prior written consent from Jackery.
7. Damage caused by force majeure, overvoltage, lightning strike, flooding, fire, vandalism, tampering or other circumstances beyond our control.
8. Damage caused by the product not being installed, used or stored in accordance with the user manual, product labelling, instructions, etc., or the product not being regularly maintained as required by Jackery.
9. Failure to provide legitimate proof of purchase, receipts or invoices, or suspicion of forgery or tampering.
10. Any labelling modification or removal, reverse engineering, or alteration of the original Jackery product or its original identification.
11. The returned product was damaged during transport because the user did not use the correct packaging.
12. Normal wear and tear.
13. Damage caused by unauthorised changes to the circuits and improper use of the battery and charger.
14. Unauthorised use of the battery in the product for other third-party purposes or other violations that lead to excessive loss of battery capacity.
15. Damage caused by reliability or compatibility issues when the product is used as input or load with third-party components that are not approved or certified by Jackery according to Jackery’s specifications.
16. Damage caused by fire, water, rust or other corrosion, biological infestation, animals, rodents or insects that goes beyond intended use.
17. Damage caused by improper installation, storage, operation or maintenance, or by non-compliance with product documentation or local laws, regulations, rules and requirements, by devices, parts, software or monitoring systems from third parties, or by damage caused by any of the above points.
18. Materials or workmanship defects not supplied by Jackery or its authorised service providers.
19. Free product.
20. Force Majeure: “Force Majeure” means any unforeseeable, unavoidable or insurmountable event beyond the control of the contracting parties which partially or fully prevents the fulfilment of this liability limitation.
1) Such events include, but are not limited to, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, fires, wars, strikes, epidemics, riots, government actions, changes in laws and regulations or their application, or any other event that is not foreseeable, avoidable or controllable, including events generally recognised in business practice as force majeure.
2) In the event of a force majeure event, the obligations of the parties affected by the force majeure event under this limited warranty shall be automatically suspended for the duration of the delay caused by the force majeure event, and the performance period shall be automatically extended. The extended period is the period of suspension, and the other party is not liable for breach of contract. The party claiming to be affected by force majeure must notify the other party in writing without delay and provide sufficient evidence of the occurrence and duration of the force majeure within 15 days of the force majeure event.
3) The party claiming to be affected by force majeure must also make all reasonable efforts to eliminate the force majeure; otherwise, the other party shall have no claim for compensation for increased losses due to the force majeure. In the event of force majeure, the parties shall promptly negotiate a fair solution and make all reasonable efforts to minimise the impact of the force majeure.
