1.Can third-party solar panels charge my Jackery power station?
Yes, Jackery can charge with solar panels of third-party brands. The DC input range is 12-60V, and the interface specification is 8020.
2.How long can the Jackery portable power station power my device?
Working time = watt-hours of the Explorer * 0.85/working power of the device
3.How to maintain the Jackery power supply?
Safety and Environmental Requirements for the Use of Jackery Energy Storage Power Supply:
The storage unit of Jackery energy storage power supply product uses lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-ion batteries have unique chemical properties, which determine the specific requirements for the operating environment temperature. The lithium-ion batteries contain electrolyte, which is more sensitive to temperature. Excessive temperature will cause the electrolyte to decompose and produce gas, leading to an increase in internal pressure. If the pressure is too high, it will cause safety issues; low temperature will reduce the chemical reaction activity inside the battery, preventing it from discharging.
1) Charging Temperature: 0 - 40°C.
It is prohibited to charge lithium-ion batteries below 0°C. Low temperature will cause lithium to precipitate at the negative electrode, forming lithium dendrites that pierce the separator and cause an internal short circuit, ultimately leading to fire and combustion.
2) Discharging Temperature: -10 - 40°C.
Please do not use the battery in extremely hot environment, such as when exposed to direct sunlight or in a vehicle with high interior temperature; using the battery outside the specified temperature range may cause the battery to overheat, explode or catch fire.
3) Storage Environment Temperature: -20 - 45°C (within 3 months)
If the battery is stored for a long time (more than 3 months), it should be inspected regularly, and please ensure that it maintains 50% of the rated capacity (the battery must be charged once every 3 months to prevent over discharge from causing low power and resulting in battery damage).
4) Environmental Humidity: 0 - 60% RH (non-condensing)
High humidity will lead to a decrease in insulation performance. Water droplets that condense on the circuit board will cause a short circuit, thereby leading to a malfunction.
Maintenance of Jackery Energy Storage Power Supply:
Jackery energy storage power supply is a lithium battery power product. It should be used in accordance with the precautions stated in the user manual; otherwise, it may cause abnormality and shorten the product's service life. The Jackery energy storage power supply does not require special maintenance, but please note the following matters:
1) If the power supply is out of power, please recharge it within 30 days; otherwise, the battery will naturally run down and will be unusable or unable to be charged.
2) If the power supply is not used for a long time, please place it in a cool and dry place; otherwise, the battery may rust or its performance may decline.
3) If the battery has been stored for a long time (more than 3 months), it should be inspected regularly, and please ensure that the battery maintains 50% of its rated capacity. Please store the battery in a dry and cool place, with a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C and a humidity range of 0% to 60%. Please avoid contact of the battery with corrosive substances, and keep it away from fire sources and heat sources.
4) Do not modify or abuse the power supply; otherwise, it may cause product damage, personal injury and property loss.
5) Please use the original charger and related accessories for charging.
4.Is a conversion adapter needed when the Jackery 2000V2 is connected to the solar panel?
Regarding the connection method between Jackery 2000V2 and the solar panel:
A conversion adapter is attached to the output line of the solar panel. When connecting, the conversion adapter must be installed or removed according to the model of the solar panel.
For the following models, please remove the conversion adapter and directly connect the DC power line to the portable power source: JS-200D/JS-100F/JS-80A
For the following models, please install the conversion adapter before connecting to the mobile power source: JS-200A/JS-200C/JS-100C/Solar panel 60W
5.Can Jackery 2000V2 be used as UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply)?
Yes, Jackery 2000V2 supports UPS mode. After connecting to the AC (Alternating current) power input, this product will supply power to the equipment through the power grid. If there is a sudden power outage, it will automatically switch to battery mode within 20 milliseconds. However, this product does not support 0 millisecond switching and is not recommended for use in sensitive devices such as data servers.
6.Does the Jackery 2000V2 support both AC (alternating current) input charging and AC output simultaneously?
Yes, it supports. In bypass mode, Jackery 2000V2 enables charging through the AC input and supplying power to the device through the AC output simultaneously. However, during the charging process, the available output power may be slightly lower than its rated output power.
7.Can Jackery 2000V2 be expanded? Can I increase its capacity?
No, Jackery 2000V2 is an independent system and cannot be connected with additional expansion batteries. If you need expandable capacity, you can choose our 2000 Plus or 5000 Plus series, as these products support battery expansion.
8.Why does the battery still charge up to 100% after switching to the battery-saving mode, instead of 85%?
Because the lithium iron phosphate battery needs to have its battery level checked over a long period of use, it will be fully charged to 100% every ten charge cycles.
