1.Environmental & Angle Factors: Solar efficiency relies on sunlight intensity, angle of incidence, surface temperature, and shading. Extremely high ambient temperatures, misaligned tilt angles, or minor shading (dust, leaves, glass) can significantly reduce power output.
2.Cable & Connection Mismatch: Loose connectors, faulty extension cables, or mismatched adapters cause voltage/current drops across the charging line.
3.Panel Micro-Cracks or Degradation: Physical impact or natural cell aging can cause invisible micro-cracks, leading to low power output even under direct sunlight.
4.MPPT Circuit Malfunction: A faulty Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) board inside the power station prevents the unit from drawing maximum available wattage.
5.BMS Battery Charging Curve: Lithium batteries automatically reduce charge speed as capacity increases.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
· Clean & Re-align Panel: Wipe the solar panel surface clean of dust/stains and position it directly perpendicular (90°) to the sun.
· Inspect Connections: Ensure all adapters and connectors are fully seated. Test using only the original solar charging cable without third-party extensions.
· Check PV Input Voltage: Measure the panel’s Open Circuit Voltage and Working Voltage with a multimeter to ensure it meets the power station's required input voltage range.
