We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. The main reasons for the decline in solar panel power generation are as follows:
1. Sunlight intensity, amount, duration, and installation environment: The installation location and angle of solar panels will affect power generation.
2. Dirt on the surface of the solar panel: If the panel surface is covered with dust or other dirt, the power generation efficiency will decrease.
3. Damage caused by falling or impact: If the panel is damaged by external impact or falling, the power generation may decrease.
4. Influence of the remaining power of the portable power supply: Our portable power supply adopts the ‘CCCV charging method (Constant Current-Constant Voltage charging method)’. Therefore, as the battery approaches full charge, the input (power generation) of the solar panel will be automatically controlled and gradually reduced. CCCV charging refers to charging at a constant current (CC: Constant Current) in the initial stage, and controlling at a constant voltage (CV: Constant Voltage) when the battery voltage reaches a predetermined value, preventing overcharging while safely charging to full capacity. Therefore, in the final stage, the charging speed will gradually slow down.
5. Malfunction of the solar panel itself: Internal abnormalities or aging of the equipment may also lead to a decrease in power generation.
For the decline in power generation, please confirm the following points to determine the cause:
1. On sunny days (approximately from 12:00 to 14:00), place the solar panel in direct sunlight outdoors and use the portable power supply, reducing the remaining power to below 50%. Please confirm if the power generation can reach 120W or more at this time.
If even this cannot reach 120W or more, please provide photos of the installation of the solar panel and the connection to the portable power supply for our confirmation.
2. Whether the solar panel has ever fallen or been subjected to strong impact in the past. If you have any memory of this, please inform us as well.
