If you experience Wi-Fi disconnection or instability, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
1. Check your Wi-Fi signal strength
Weak or unstable signals are commonly caused by:
• Excessive distance between your device and the router (we recommend keeping within 10–15 metres).
• Obstructions such as walls or furniture blocking the signal path.
• Router placement in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas (e.g., inside cabinets, corners, or utility boxes), or near other electronic devices.
• Interference from other wireless devices.
We recommend:
• Positioning your router in an open, elevated, and well-ventilated location.
• Ensuring a clear line of sight between your device and the router.
2. Investigate router or network issues
Unstable Wi-Fi may stem from anomalies at the signal source:
• Router overheating, overload, or needing a restart.
• Too many connected devices.
• Network configuration limitations (e.g., encryption method or channel congestion).
We recommend:
• Restarting your router.
• Disconnecting unused devices.
• Reviewing your router settings (e.g., encryption type and channel selection).
3. Consider your operating environment
Extreme environmental conditions may affect Wi-Fi module performance:
• Temperatures outside the recommended operating range.
• High humidity, condensation, dust, or exposure to water splashes.
We recommend:
• Using your device in a temperate, dry environment.
4. Check your device’s power settings
When running on portable power, the device may automatically power down—causing Wi-Fi disconnection—in the following scenario:
• All outputs are turned off and no charging input (AC/solar, etc.) is detected for approximately two hours (a power-saving feature).
You can adjust the “Auto Power-Off Time” setting via the app. To maintain continuous Wi-Fi connectivity, we recommend selecting “Never”.
5. If the issue persists
If none of the above steps resolve the problem, the internal Wi-Fi module may be faulty. Please reply to this email with details of your situation, and we’ll be happy to assist you further.
