If you experience Wi-Fi disconnection or instability, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
1. Check Wi-Fi signal strength
Weak or unstable signals are commonly caused by:
- Excessive distance between your device and the router (we recommend keeping it within 10–15 metres).
- Obstructions such as walls or furniture blocking the signal path.
- Router placement in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas (e.g., inside cabinets, corners, or utility boxes), or near other electronic devices.
- Interference from other wireless devices.
We recommend:
- Positioning your router in an open, elevated, and well-ventilated location.
- Ensuring a clear line of sight between your device and the router.
2. Investigate router or network issues
Unstable Wi-Fi may stem from anomalies at the signal source:
- Router overheating, overload, or the need for a restart.
- Too many connected devices.
- Network configuration restrictions (e.g., incompatible encryption methods or channel congestion).
We recommend:
- Restarting your router.
- Disconnecting unused devices.
- Reviewing your router’s settings (e.g., encryption type, channel selection).
3. Consider your operating environment
Extreme environmental conditions can affect Wi-Fi module performance:
- Temperatures that are excessively high or low.
- High humidity, condensation, dust, or exposure to water splashes.
We recommend:
- Using your device in a temperate, dry environment.
4. Check your device’s power settings
When running on portable power, the unit may automatically power off—disrupting Wi-Fi—as part of its energy-saving design:
- After approximately two hours with all outputs disabled and no charging input (AC or solar) connected.
You can adjust the “Auto Power-Off Time” setting via the app. To maintain continuous Wi-Fi connectivity, we recommend selecting “Never”.
5. If the issue persists
If none of the above steps resolve the problem, there may be an internal fault with the Wi-Fi module. Please reply to this email with full details of the issue—we’ll be happy to assist you further.
