We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. When charging your Explorer300D via your vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket, please ensure the correct connection method is followed. Kindly refer to the instructions below.
Connection method:
Vehicle cigarette lighter socket → 8020 vehicle cigarette lighter charging cable → 8020 to USB-C adapter plug → USB-C (IN/OUT) port on the Explorer300D power station
Please note: The Explorer300D does not include the 8020 vehicle cigarette lighter charging cable or the 8020 to USB-C adapter plug — both are sold separately and are available through our official online store.
To help determine whether the issue stems from a product defect or incorrect connection, we kindly ask you to check the following points:
1. Please confirm that you are using the official 8020 vehicle cigarette lighter charging cable, available exclusively via our official online store.
2. Intermittent contact can occur — please try unplugging and reinserting all connections several times.
3. When connecting the charging cable to the power station, check whether the cigarette lighter charging icon appears on the LCD screen.
4. After connecting the cable, verify whether an “Input” value (in watts) is displayed on the LCD screen.
5. Ensure no overheating warnings or error codes appear on the LCD screen.
6. Confirm that the ambient temperature during charging falls within the unit’s operating range (0 °C to 45 °C).
7. Verify that your vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket supplies a stable output of 12 V / 10 A / 120 W. If output is insufficient, the socket’s built-in overload protection may activate, preventing charging.
If possible, please share a photo or short video showing your actual setup — including close-ups of all connections and the LCD screen display — so we can assess the situation more accurately and provide prompt, tailored support.
