We apologize that you encountered this issue when first attempting to connect the solar panel to the power station.
If the solar panel input is 0 W, please charge the power station using your vehicle — specifically, try charging via the cigarette lighter socket to verify whether the DC input port on the unit is functioning correctly.
If the DC input port is confirmed to be working, please proceed with the following checks regarding the solar panel and power station connection:
Ensure cable compatibility. The E3000 Pro requires compatibility with the DC8020 interface (the DC7909 will not work).
For easy identification: the DC7909 connector has a black inner ring, whereas the DC8020 is entirely silver.
Additionally, another possibility is the placement of the solar panel. To avoid the solar panel not discharging effectively, please ensure the following:
Place the solar panel in direct sunlight, avoiding any shade from trees, buildings, or other objects.
Adjust the panel to face the sun at an optimal angle (generally perpendicular to the sun's rays).
Make sure the panel is clean and free of dust, dirt, or snow.
If placed indoors (e.g., behind a window), note that glass can significantly reduce efficiency. Outdoor placement is strongly recommended for optimal performance.
Check the weather conditions — heavy cloud cover or rain will reduce power output.
If you have any further issues, please provide the following:
A front-facing photo of the current power station
A photo showing how the solar panel is connected to the power station
A photo of the cable connector at the power station end
Information on the solar panel's placement (indoor or outdoor, tilt angle)
