| AC coupling function | Some households have already installed rooftop photovoltaic (PV) systems with inverters. During periods of sufficient sunlight, the rooftop PV system powers household loads and generates surplus energy. To utilize this surplus, users must first install a Shelly smart meter and connect it to the HP 2000U. Then, enable the AC-coupling function in the app to store excess grid energy in the HP 2000U. Using the Shelly smart meter, the HomePower 2000 Ultra detects surplus energy flow within the household grid and prioritizes storing this excess energy. Combined with its self-consumption functionality, the device discharges stored energy during peak consumption periods, thereby reducing grid electricity usage. |

| How to enter manual standby mode | Jackery APP –My devices – Standby |
| How to enter automatic standby | 1. On-Grid State: Auto-Standby & Wake-up Logic In on-grid operation, the system will automatically enter Standby State (low-power state, inverter disabled) if both of the following conditions are met for a continuous period of 10 minutes: No PV input (PV power = 0W). AC output power (load power) remains below 25W. The system will automatically exit Standby State and resume normal on-grid operation once PV input power exceeds the wake-up threshold (e.g., >10W). 2. Off-Grid State: Auto-Shutdown Logic In off-grid operation (battery powering backup loads), the system will perform an Automatic Shutdown (output completely cut off, main controller enters deep sleep) if the output power remains below 25W for the duration preset in the system settings. Note: After an automatic shutdown in off-grid state, the system will not restart automatically. A manual restart (via physical button or APP command) is required to resume operation. |

| Maximum number of compatible sockets | 4 |
| Maximum compatible meter quantity | A single host supports connection to only one meter. However, as the SolarVault series supports host paralleling (up to three hosts), multiple hosts can be integrated into a single system and interfaced with one meter. A three-phase meter is used for three-phase systems, while a single-phase meter is used for single-phase systems. In this scenario, one meter suffices for the entire paralleled system. |
| Operating Mode | 1. AI Smart Mode Based on the electricity tariff settings in Advanced Settings, this mode predicts electricity tariffs, photovoltaic (PV) generation, and household load consumption trends to calculate the optimal operating mode; the system intelligently dispatches the energy storage system using an advanced algorithm. 2. Self-Consumption Mode (Default System Mode) Prioritizes PV and battery power to supply household loads, minimizing grid electricity consumption. PV power is first used to meet load demand; surplus PV power charges the battery; once the battery is fully charged, any additional surplus is fed to the grid according to user configuration. 3. Custom Mode Allows users to define time periods, recurrence rules, charge/discharge actions, and operating power levels to meet specific energy requirements. Supports enabling “Smart Socket Priority” to prioritize power supply to smart sockets. 4. Tariff Mode Automatically adjusts battery charging and discharging based on electricity tariff fluctuations. Supports time-of-use (TOU) tariffs or dynamic tariff sources, including market-based tariffs and contract-based tariffs. |
